| @y2kenny:matrix.org | Just to report back with my zookeeper migration. I ended up just doing an offline backup and restore from one standalone to another standalone. (Couldn't quite figure out how to do a secure clustered zookeeper on k8s just yet.) The switch from HDD to SSD for zookeeper made a world of difference for zuul performance to a point that I think it should be listed as requirement if that's not the case already (I guess most folks wouldn't expect people to still use spinning rust :P.) The periodic freezes when there are large amount of event/result is gone. Dequeue take effect immediately as oppose to taking a minute or 3 to apply. The large amount of null jobs generated by periodic pipeline on repos with lots of branches are resolved very quickly so that is no longer an issue. | 21:02 |
