JayF | This is basically the conversation that inactivity email/process is meant to spurn; thanks for having it. Really all I care about is that someone is actually using it and can say "yep it works" + there is sufficient maintenance (CI+requirements) to keep it going. Thank you eandersson :) | 00:20 |

frickler | leadership "distributed" onto a single person sounds a bit weird to me. also keeping up with reqs may become non-trivial very soon, I see big failures running with sqla2 and then there's the eventlet situation | 17:45 |
JayF | frickler: I don't want to guarantee anything until we have a better idea how much work will be required, but I do have some additional resources coming onilne which I'll be directing towards helping smaller projects do eventlet migrations; as long as reviews/CI are already in good shape on the project. (Basically I think our rule will be if a project has working CI, including integration tests, we'll prioritize helping upgrade) | 18:17 |
JayF | this is all very early, not-guaranteed, etc until after we have a plan materialized and a single thing migrated as an example, but I know there's gonna be a lot of work needed and I want to try and help keep us from having some of the smaller projects falling behind *as long as they are demonstrating the resources to keep the gate going / reviews timely otherwise* | 18:18 |
