darshnagryf: When I am running the `vagrant up` do I need the VirtualBox too? when I gave this command it showed me an error15:03
darshnaI think that is the case, let me dig it more about it. This is my first time that is why I might not know how to work with it. I will be digging more about it and then let you know15:09

darshnaI did not install `bsdtar` that is why it was showing error15:28
gryfdarshna, the idea behind using vargant is to simplify and automate the process for installing kuryr-kubernetes with devstack. For sure you'll need some sort of virtualization, unless you want to reinstall your base operating system in daily basis, because of changes, which might interfere with the devstack deployment.15:48
darshnabut I when I running the `vagrant up` command it is still showing an error15:49
darshnas/I/I am15:49
gryfactually, I'm not sure about that.15:49
gryfdocs says "Install Vagrant on your local machine. Install one of the current providers supported: VirtualBox, Libvirt or Vagrant"15:49
gryfthe last option (vagrant) is ambiguous for me.15:50
gryfperhaps the "vagrant" option is to install all the necessary things on the current OS.15:51
gryfpersonally, if I need devstak installation locally, I spin up an vm (neither vbox or on libvirt) and install devstack directly there.15:51
darshnaoh okay15:52
gryfI guess, that best option for you would be to install either vbox or libvirt, and let the vargant to spin up the environment on VM.15:52
*** edith__ has joined #openstack-kuryr15:53
darshnayes, I will try installing libvert and then see15:53
gryfadvantage of such approach is the fact, that you could have couple of them at the same time (depending on your machine capabilities), and ability for quickly clean up (removing VM) and spin it up again.15:54
darshnaokay15:55
darshnahow much memory and hardisk is required ?16:00
gryfafter fresh installation I have 12GB occupied, so I guess 16-20GB would be a good call.16:03
gryfas for memory - more is better, and 8GB is minimum.16:04
darshnaoh okay16:05
