@flaper87:matrix.orgThere's something I don't quite understand about how nodepool k8s' driver works: I see it starts the pod but then the pod just sleeps. I see the executor trying to ssh into the pod. Is this the intended way? Is there a way to tell the executor to "just" run the command directly in the pod for specific nodesets? 10:53

I seem to remember there was a way to avoid ssh into pods but I can't find it in the docs. Will keep looking

Alright, [reading this](https://zuul-ci.org/docs/zuul/3.6.1/developer/specs/container-build-resources.html), it sounds like it should all be automatic but from the executor logs I see it trying to connect using ssh to the pod instead of using the kubectl connection plugin
@flaper87:matrix.orgOk, I think I solved this. It looks like the executor starts the `ssh-agent` and adds the `ssh` key regardless of the connection type. This step was failing for me, which prevented the executor from connecting to the pod entirely11:52

@flaper87:matrix.orgAre the paths in `untrusted_ro_paths` only mounted inside the executor context? Or is there a way to copy those files into the node? 20:10
@jim:acmegating.comflaper87: only on the executor; you can copy them onto the node in a playbook20:16
@jim:acmegating.com * flaper87: only on the executor; you can copy them onto the node in a trusted playbook20:16
@flaper87:matrix.orgGood, thanks! Do you have an example of how this copy can be done? Looking for the variables that will point me to the right paths in the executor so I can write a task for it. 20:21
@jim:acmegating.comsorry, no examples of that20:26
