sgwMorning all14:56
dpenney_hi Saul... can you check my thinking on https://review.opendev.org/682197 ? I had given a W+1 to the 3 kernel reviews, but only the tools ended up in the zuul gate. When I looked at this one, it seems the Parent has been abandoned, which probably explains why this one didn't end up in the gate14:58
*** TxGirlGeek has quit IRC14:59
dpenney_I dropped the W+1 from the tools one to hopefully block it from merging until this is resolved14:59

sgwdpenney_: looking, I think if we +W all three, the tools one will go first, I am not folling why it would get stuck15:28
dpenney_I had all three W+1, but the other two did not get in the Gate15:28
dpenney_the "parent" for one of the integs is an abandoned review, so I don't think that one would get merged until it's fixed up15:29
sgwThey are waiting for the tools one, they depend on that to go first, it had not actually merged15:29
dpenney_usually, they all get lined up in the gate15:30
sgwI have not looked at zuul that way before, maybe dtroyer knows15:30
dpenney_but if you look at the parent of https://review.opendev.org/682197 ... 02f9676ec7d8ccf9199a142a4896324efb61f91d ... that's an abandoned review15:30
dpenney_and the parent is an automatic dependency15:31
dpenney_so I don't think Zuul would ever merge that one15:31
sgwThen it needs to be rebased15:31
ildikovsgw: hi :)15:44
ildikovsgw: I wanted to follow up on the topic of merging some of the build/distro related projects15:44
ildikovsgw: do you happen to have an update?15:44
dtroyersgw, dpenney_ after a quick look I'd say Don has it right15:51
sgwildikov: Morning, just saw this, sorry for not getting back to you on this, the build team preferred not mixing multi-os with build side of the project.16:41
ildikovsgw: no worries, thanks for getting back to me16:43
ildikovsgw: so in summary we will keep all build, multios, distro, and distro-openstack project teams, right?16:44
sgwildikov: yes16:56

bwensleysgw: you said rpmlint is not toxable - what does that mean?19:51
sgwbwensley: since rpmlint happens on the build RPM binary, you need to have a way todo that.  I am have submitted a ptach set to the zuul-jobs repo to submit the spec files to OBS (Open Build Service) which generates the rpms and the rpmlint output.19:53
sgwit's not like a script that's run on a specfile like lint or pep819:54
bwensleyOK - thanks19:54
