mariosanyone come across an issue with devstack and neutron-ovn-metadata-agent failing to start ..?  digging at logs looks like a missing module 13:16
mariosDec 11 13:06:50 marios-env-again neutron-ovn-metadata-agent[553065]: ERROR neutron ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'typing_extensions'13:16
sean-k-mooneyfun that sound like the requriement repo you have checked out is older then needed by your current neutorn13:19
sean-k-mooneythe reason i say that is that looks like a deps issue and the requireemtns.txt in neutron shoudl be installing the deps you need in the venv13:20
mariosah, i didn't update my setup in a while and just re-ran ... might be that then13:20
mariosso maybe just git pull on devstack repo then13:20
sean-k-mooneyi woudl consider that ot see if its alreay been fix there13:20
sean-k-mooneybut also do it on /opt/stack/requirements13:21
sean-k-mooneyi havent see that specific issue but in the past similar module not found issue have been cause by updates to tird party lib that require us to adapt 13:22
mariossure thanks for hint sean-k-mooney will try 13:22
mariosso requirements is at HEAD detached... is that stack.sh that does this sean-k-mooney ? 13:28
mariosshould i checkout master and pull then 13:28
sean-k-mooneyyes beucase devstack modifes it slightly13:30
sean-k-mooneywhewn using LIBS_FROM_GIT13:30
sean-k-mooneyso you can git checkout -f master; git pull --ff-only13:30
sean-k-mooneyand then devstack will be happy on the next stack.13:30
sean-k-mooneyyou may want to do the same for neutron13:30
sean-k-mooneyi assume you dont have RECLONE=True set. that can cause you to loose work as it will delete and recreate teh repos so its geneally not advised to use13:31
mariosack thanks doing 13:32
mariosalso setting RECLONE ;)13:34
