danfaihaleyb: frickler: thank you for the responses. I didn't had a good look at the RFCs yet, but afaics the MAC should be in the L2 of the DHCP packet. Only if the DHCP6 is routed such that the MAC might change, this would be a problem. In case of OVN where the DHCP is done on the hypervisor this might be less of an issue. But I also agree that in a cloud setup, especially with11:20
