ayoungIs there a way to create a load-balancer like effect without A) LBaaS like Octavia and B) Creating an LB VM?  I know OpenShift dfoes something that makes services HA when deployed on OpenStack, but I don't understand what.19:46
ayoungThe install I have is failing, and I think it has to do with a port that is supposed to be the access to multiple web services.  THe control plane.  THe port is on the internal network, and thus all the VMs should be able to talk to it without a floating IP, but...it is not attached to anythinbg.19:47
johnsomayoung LBaaS has it's own channel in #openstack-lbaas. That said, OpenShift when deployed on OpenStack uses Octavia.19:47

johnsomayoung There are multiple provider drivers for Octavia, one of which is the neutron OVN driver that does not use VMs. However it can only handle TCP traffic.19:49
