fricklerso https://opendev.org/openstack/octavia/src/branch/master/bin/create_dual_intermediate_CA.sh uses intermediate CAs, but https://docs.openstack.org/octavia/latest/admin/guides/certificates.html has no mention of that, is it just oversight or is there some reason for that?07:58
gthiemongefrickler: Hi, hmm I don't know the reason, maybe johnsom will have more insight into it08:01

johnsomfrickler The shell script is only for the testing jobs. I wanted to test with intermediate certs in case someone has to use them. They are not required.13:22
fricklerjohnsom: o.k., so it is only a testing scenario and no advantage to using them in a normal deployment? might be useful to add a note about that somewhere13:35
