rpittaugood morning ironic! o/06:23
rpittauTheJulia: hi! for the ipa-builder "no space left on device" issue looks like the problem happens in chroot, but I can't see where the chrooted dir size is defined, if there's any08:06
rpittauthe total disk space is 80 gb, so I don't think the problem is in the host itself, I can't reproduce it locally with a 60gb disk08:06
iurygregorymorning Ironic11:38
TheJuliarpittau: dib's chroot would be on /tmp13:07
TheJuliaI think13:07
rpittauTheJulia: yes, I was checking that and it's mounted on tmpfs13:10
rpittauso I guess we need to increase the size there, so more RAM ?13:11
rpittauotherwise I think there's an option to avoid using tmpfs13:11
rpittauDIB_NO_TMPFS13:11
rpittaudidn't dig into that though, just found it13:11
TheJuliayeah, I'd look at that option13:24
TheJuliato be honest13:24

Sandzwerg[m]soo I had node stuck in deleting, restarted the conductor and now it's in error. According to the state machine rebuild is the only option to get out of that, but that complains about "failed to validate deploy image info. .. missing are: [' instance_info.image_source' ]" and yeah that is probably not set but IIRC there was no instance on that node. Or which command would trigger a "deleted (via API)" because it is not delete, I14:11
Sandzwerg[m]know that :P14:11
TheJuliastuck in deleting...14:31
TheJulia...14:31
TheJuliathe odds of that seems super low....14:31
TheJuliayou should be able to ask for it to be undeployed again or use the provision_state verb "deleted" i.e. openstack baremetal node undeploy $node_uuid14:34
Sandzwerg[m]ah undeploy is what I was looking for. I should remember that used it often enough. Not sure why it was stuck in deleting14:46
TheJuliawe should likely add an "official" alias into the state machine14:47
TheJuliajust so it might be less confusing14:47
TheJuliabecause I bet if you saw "undeploy", you would have gone "oh!"14:48
rpittaugood night! o/15:58
Sandzwerg[m]Oh yes, adding the command names instead of the API state would be really helpful16:07
TheJuliahmmm, I was more thinking a hacky alias16:07
TheJuliabut yeah, that would be better16:07
TheJuliaand more realistic to do now16:07
Sandzwerg[m]at one point I thougt that deleted  maps to the delete command but, ~it does not :D It still solved my state problem but in a unexpected way16:08
TheJuliaThe code that does the state machine diagram needs some work as well :(16:21
TheJuliaI went to regenerate it in one of my patch sets and felt great sadness16:21
