tbachmanQuestion for folks about the networking-sfc project. I saw that they have stable branches for mitaka, newton, train… but not ocata, pike, queens, rocky, or stein (granted all ofwhich are technically eol releases). Does anyone know why those stable branches are no longer there?16:37
fungitbachman: i think nobody bothered eol those older branches like has been done with the newer ones16:39
fungielodilles is probably the person to talk to16:39
fungioh, actually the branches do have eol tags, just haven't been deleted i guess?16:40
tbachmanoh16:41
fungianyway, yes that's probably just missed cleanup16:41
tbachmanI must have missed those16:41
tbachmanThis gives me a 404:16:41
tbachmanhttps://opendev.org/openstack/networking-sfc/src/branch/stein-eol16:41
fungiyou want a tag, not a branch16:41
tbachmanah16:41
tbachmanthx16:42
fungiif i `git tag|grep eol` i see there's a stein-eol tag, for example, which can be checked out16:42
tbachmanthanks fungi !16:42
fungishould also appear in the tags drop-down list16:42
tbachman(and sorry for not checking that16:42
fungibut yeah, basically the current process is that we tag the final branch state with a -eol name, and then delete the branch itself. in some earlier cases, branch deletion was missed16:43
fungispecifically, stable/mitaka and stable/newton branches have corresponding mitaka-eol and newton-eol tags but the branches were never removed16:46
fungistable/train and later are not eol yet16:47
