jpic | hi all, I think there is a bug in horizon when SNAT is disabled in OpenStack. When creating a router, even if "SNAT" is unchecked: it fails with something like "neutron policy rejects SNAT". Seems to me that when the "Enable SNAT" checkbox is unchecked in horizon, no value for snat is passed to the neutron client body, and perhaps "SNAT" is the default in neutronclient create router or something? | 10:12 |
vishalmanchanda | jpic: hi I am unable to reproduce your issue in my devstack env. | 11:27 |
vishalmanchanda | jpic: Could you open a bug on Launchpad and add more information about how to reproduce it? | 11:28 |
jpic | vishalmanchanda: did you try to create a router with un-checked "Enable SNAT", and then see if the router had SNAT indeed disabled? that would be the easiest way to reproduce the bug, there are other ways | 11:50 |
jpic | if I'm correct, un-checked "Enable SNAT" in horizon would have no effect (in wallaby): the router would be created with SNAT anyway | 11:50 |
vishalmanchanda | jpic: yes I create a router with un-checked "Enable SNAT" option in horizon and router is created successfully. After that If I look in router details page then it's shows me ``SNAT Disabled``. | 12:11 |
vishalmanchanda | Similarly if I create a router with checked "Enable SNAT" option then SNAT filed value in details template is Enabled. | 12:13 |
jpic | what version of openstack do you have please? | 12:19 |
vishalmanchanda | master | 12:20 |
jpic | thank you vishalmanchanda! | 12:54 |
