ianwpromethanfire: have it pass CI?  i won't pretend to understand the details of gentoo builds at any level really, i usually just rely on seeing it pass.  why is it timing out?  that leads me to then think that if it goes into production it might lead to the builders getting stuck on it and causing more problems00:18
prometheanfireianw: it times out because it compiles things, and that takes time00:23
prometheanfiregentoo being gentoo :|00:23
ianwyou can up the timeout on the job, how long is "long" going to be?00:25
prometheanfireI don't think too much longer, I'm gonna run a couple of local builds to see if I can reduce the time00:26
prometheanfireI have caching enabled, so for me it's fast00:27
prometheanfiregate doesn't seem to reuse the cache00:27
prometheanfirejust started a basic systemd run, will see how long it takes for me00:32
prometheanfireok, just finishing now02:32
prometheanfireso, 2 hours so far, with some binpkgs02:32
prometheanfireso..., ya, kinda long02:54
prometheanfirepart of the problem is that upstream systemd stages are broken02:55
prometheanfireI've worked with the dev in charge of it, but the 'minimal' stage3 is more reliable (as in built today)02:55
