Dantali0nHello, for pythonclients (ironic-pythonclient, watcher-pythonclient, etc) upper constraints from releases files specificies exact version, how do I prevent errors when running environment is actual pythonclient project?? https://zuul.opendev.org/t/openstack/build/303bbd7110c441cd92c214dc30126fab10:21

TheJuliaDantali0n: in CI, the openstack/requirements/upper-constraints.txt file typically needs to be updated, however I'm 99% sure that is automatic unless something is failing someplace along the path to promotion15:37

Dantali0nTheJulia: If you enforce the upper constraints through deps in tox.ini everything works yet if you specifiy it as part of install_command it fails, I'm baffled by this20:41
TheJuliaif as the install command, I *believe* you end up taking the wrong path in pip. It was a bug a few years back if I remember correctly20:42
Dantali0nCould be the trick is if you use the upper constraints in install_command you enforce it in all environments and people can't forget adding it to the deps, so would be nice but since it fails guess I can't have it this way20:43
TheJuliawe used to have it on the install command and then pip changed behavior20:54
TheJuliaI really don't remember much about that20:54
TheJuliafeels like a lifetime ago :)20:55
