vishyminimal migration pain is really important05:59

uvirtbotLaunchpad bug 980209 in keystone "BaseLDAP builds tree_dn backwards" [Undecided,In progress]21:08

gabrielhurleyAny chance I could get some devstack folks to approve https://review.openstack.org/#change,6496 ? It's kinda blocking forward progress for horizon currently, since we're gated by devstack.21:13
ayoungdolphm, nope21:15
ayoungdolphm, if anyone was using this code path, they would have reported it as a bug21:15
*** hashar has quit IRC21:15
ayoung dolphm they probably blindly followed my blog post which said to to do user_tree_dn = ou=Users,dc=younglogic,dc=com21:16
ayoung05role_tree_dn = ou=Roles,dc=younglogic,dc=com21:16
ayoung06tenant_tree_dn = ou=Groups,dc=younglogic,dc=com21:16
ayoungwhich avoids the problem21:16
ayoungit is only if you do the sensible thing:  suffix = dc=younglogic,dc=com  that the tree_dn gets composed for you.21:17

novas0x2a|laptop20 minutes might be a little bit too aggressive for the devstack gate timeout (when it's under load, i assume). not sure if anyone wants to see, but failure is https://jenkins.openstack.org/job/gate-integration-tests-devstack-vm/3452/ and then success after retrigger is https://jenkins.openstack.org/job/gate-integration-tests-devstack-vm/3463/22:18
openstackgerritVerification of a change to openstack/nova failed: Renamed current_audit_period function to last_completed_audit_period to clarify its purpose.  https://review.openstack.org/650522:18
rmkCan someone please verify this so I can submit a bug accordingly ...22:19
rmkSeems like nova-manage network --disassociate-project does not work with Essex. Can anyone else confirm?22:19
jeblairnovas0x2a|laptop: normal tests take 10 minutes to run.  if there's a 50% change in runtime due to host server load from a cloud provider, i consider that a bug with the cloud provider.  i'm collecting stats on that and plan on doing that soon.22:19
jeblairnovas0x2a|laptop: if it's from running the test, well, that's still highly variable, it would be good to know the cause of that.  i think timestamps in devstack are in order.22:19
