jeblairmikal: it's an aspect of the tarball job; after each change is merged the tarball job runs and builds a tarball with that change.  to make sure we never create a duplicate tarball (across our several different bulid slaves) we record the versions we've built into a bzr repo.  that got fubar'd.  i've removed the checkout, hopefully that should get the tarball job working again.07:15
