vishyttx: sure13:21
ttxso first we have a lot of "Nova / General" sessions, was wondering if there was a way to better split the tracks13:22
ttxvishy: but couldn't come up with anything that makes sense13:22
ttxvishy: second, do you think there are similarities between your "Xen/KVM parity" session and pvo's "VM disk management" session ?13:23
ttxtrying to find duplicates13:23
ttxhttp://summit.openstack.org/sessions/view/4113:24
ttxhttp://summit.openstack.org/sessions/view/10513:24
vishyttx: well vm disk management is one part of the parity stuff13:24
ttxright -- do you think this needs 2 x 55-min sessions ?13:24
vishyttx: it probably deserves its own short session13:25
ttxok, i'll reduce it then13:25
ttxvishy: which one should be covered first ?13:25
ttxi can schedule them back to back, I guess13:25
vishyi think the vm disk management could be a short session13:25
vishythe xen kvm parity we could sqeeze down too if necessary13:26
vishybut it would be nice to do a long one if we have time13:26
ttxvishy: it can turn into a "feature gaps" discussion13:26
ttxso I think we can always fill that hour13:27

ttxdo they all make sense as separate discussions ?13:29
ttxvishy: should any be put on the waiting list (priority 2) ?13:29
vishyhmm13:30
vishythose are all a bit different13:30
ttx"Notification and error handling (orchestration)" wants a 55min slot13:30
vishyit is an interesting topic, but maybe we could cut them all to 25 min discussions13:31
ttxyes it's all about getting info out, but for different purposes13:31
vishythere is some overlap in the Notification with the api discussion too13:31
ttxwill cut notification to 25min and approve them all.13:32
ttxvishy: ok to approve the "OCCI support for OpenStack" one ?13:32
sandywalshthat's fine ... we can do it in 25min :)13:32

vishydo we have any other zone discussions?13:36
ttxsandywalsh should know13:36
ttxnthing obvious from where I stand13:36
vishyI don't really know what the second one is trying to accomplish13:36
ttxLet's put the second one in wait list for the time being13:37
sandywalshttx vishy nothing slated for zones, but there is an unconference slated regarding dist-scheduler and networks.13:37
vishyjaypipes: are you aware that glance client has all of the same dependencies as glance even though it doesn't use them?13:38

vishyand we can have a catch-all for advanced scheduling13:39
sandywalshttx, remote private clouds sounds like it might touch on zones, but with VPN ... sounds interesting13:39
vishyand put Compute Port Aware Scheduler in there13:39
ttxsandywalsh: could you contact him to ask him to amend his description ?13:39
sandywalshttx sure13:39
ttxvishy: ok, let's file a new one for advanced scehduling (25min) and i'll redirect the other to that one13:40
