jbernardsmcginnis: i think the argument is one of pragmatism - as the rados and rbd bindings are system packages on stable distros, the time to update is considerably larger which leave py3 users without a solution for a potentially long time.  While we can push these changes now and revert them when the bindings update and propogate into the supported distros.  It's not ideal but I think it is reasonably14:35

erlonsmcginnis, found the problem. The problem was only in this specific test. It was importing a local file 'import manager as scn_manager'. I think that python3 (or tox3) does not support those kind of imports. It worked with 'import cinder_tempest_plugin.scenario.manager as scn_manager'20:51
