gokhanihi folks, is there any one who use GPU virtualization in OpenStack environment ? I have train environment which is deployed by OSA. I want to add  GPU compute node. For this I have a supermicro server which has 4 nvidia tesla v100-SXM2 gpu cards. For adding gpu compute node which steps do I need to follow ? I will install ubuntu 18.04 on server and then ı will install gpu and vgpu drivers. After that I will add compute node like kvm compute nod07:07

jrossergokhani: you can place the necessary config you need in nova.conf by using config overrides, see https://docs.openstack.org/openstack-ansible/latest/reference/configuration/using-overrides.html#overriding-conf-files07:11
jrosserthat can be done in user_variables.yml to apply to all hosts, or you can also put those in /etc/openstack_deploy/group_vars/... or host_vars/... to make them apply just to specific hosts07:13

jrosseri have tried to explain many times now that you can have several vlan on one bridge11:00

ionitap7d58aa15-9811:06
ioniok, that's the problem11:06
ioniso neutron created a vlan network on that bridge but the bridge is already tagged11:07
ioniso you have tag on tag11:07
jrosserthis is not working becasue the neutron network has "Physical Network: lbaas"11:07
jrosserif that was set to "provider" then it would be good11:07
ioniyes11:07
jrosseror whatever name the eno1 physnet has been given11:08

jrosservlan type can work just fine11:08
jrosseri have that here11:09
arkanshould I remove the ip?11:09
arkanI have only one NIC to the router11:09
jrosserthe benefit from an operator POV is if you add a new service, like trove or whatever, you don't have to visit (and potentially reboot) every compute node to add a special br-<foo>11:09
arkanioni: what you want me to do ?11:10
jrosserthe AIO uses flat networks for all this stuff becasue that is an odd environment where the whole thing has to be wedged onto a single host with a single interface11:10
arkanI want to use vlans11:11
ioniarkan: just change http://paste.openstack.org/show/795476/ line 1311:11
arkanioni: change octavia_provider_network_name: lbaas, ok change it to what ?11:12

arkanits settings is the same as for lbaas, both are vlans, both are configures in the controller & compute hosts and both are configured in the router11:19

ionibr-lbaas is already tagged11:23
ionineutron added a new tag to br-lbaas11:23
arkanioni: yes the br-lbaas is tagged11:24
arkanioni: but net40 is also tagged11:24
arkanon moment11:25
arkanioni: no it's not tagged11:25
arkanit's using br-ext11:26
ioninet40 has mapping on br-ext, which has eno1 as interfaces11:26
arkanand net40 will be tagged by neutron11:26
arkanso it will be tagged only once11:26
arkanioni: my question, can I use br-ext more than one time with different vlans ?11:26
