kata-irc-bot<gerrit.schwerthelm> As I need to build my own kernel for that... do you have a place where you store the Kernel config for release 1.12.0-alpha1? ,:)09:14
kata-irc-bot<jakob.naucke> https://github.com/kata-containers/packaging/tree/1.12.0-alpha1/kernel/configs09:17
kata-irc-bot<gerrit.schwerthelm> Thanks, Jakob! Unfortunately, the 5.4 config for x86 is not in the directory. The kernel that ships with Kata is 5.4 though: ```# file /usr/share/kata-containers/vmlinuz-5.4.60.88-50.container  /usr/share/kata-containers/vmlinuz-5.4.60.88-50.container: Linux kernel x86 boot executable bzImage, version 5.4.60-50.container (abuild@cloud119) #1 SMP Wed Sep 2 00:50:24 UTC 2020, RO-rootFS, swap_dev 0x5, Normal VGA``` Am I10:01
kata-irc-botmissing something? ,:)10:01
kata-irc-bot<jakob.naucke> > ships with Kata How did you obtain it? Full list here10:05
kata-irc-bot<gerrit.schwerthelm> It came via installation with apt on ubuntu: ```# dpkg -S /usr/share/kata-containers/vmlinuz-5.4.60.88-50.container  kata-linux-container: /usr/share/kata-containers/vmlinuz-5.4.60.88-50.container``` I followed along this document: https://github.com/kata-containers/kata-containers/blob/2.0-dev/docs/install/ubuntu-installation-guide.md10:09
kata-irc-bot<jakob.naucke> `dpkg -s kata-linux-container`?10:13
kata-irc-bot<gerrit.schwerthelm> ```# dpkg -s kata-linux-container Package: kata-linux-container Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: devel Installed-Size: 40522 Maintainer: Kata containers team <https://github.com/kata-containers/> Architecture: amd64 Version: 5.4.60.88-50 Description: linux kernel optimised for container-like workloads.  Linux kernel optimised for container-like workloads Homepage: https://katacontainers.io```10:14
kata-irc-bot<jakob.naucke> It seems that the Kernel is built with fragments rather than full configs, so specifying a version should “just work” https://github.com/kata-containers/packaging/tree/1.12.0-alpha1/kernel10:23

devimc_Poll: Kata Containers 2020 September Elections: The poll supervisor has decided to make this a *non-anonymous poll*. If you vote, your email address and how you voted will be visible to anyone who has been given access to the poll results.14:54
devimc_Sorry but that doesn't sounds good to me14:54
kata-irc-bot<efoster> as a follow-up, I just used a non-kata pod running `socat`. `socat` proxied from `:port` to the `cluster IP of the kata pod:port`, and then I just did a port-forward to my `socat` container.15:06
kata-irc-bot<eric.ernst> To follow up -- I believe Ricardo fixed this, right devimc_ ?15:39
devimc_@eric.ernst  yeah, He fixed it15:42
