kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> I think no, never seen anyone do (or even need to do) that16:36
kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> my favourite search engines didn’t bring up anything useful either about that topic16:37
kata-irc-bot3<graham.whaley> @gemini_117 - I suspect there is no native command for docker/runc to do that. But, it might be that if you can hotplug a volume into a container, then kata may be able to spot that volume is actually a block device and 'do the right thing'. If anybody would know I suspect it would be @julio.montes... I don't think it is something anybody has done before (or a far far away small bell is maybe telling me one person asked once16:38
kata-irc-bot3before...)16:38
kata-irc-bot3<graham.whaley> @xu ^^ any thoughts or memories of previous discussions on such a thing?16:40

kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> ah yes, now i remembered what i wanted to ask!20:45
kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> under Clear Linux, i am unable to get DNS working with containers out of box20:46
kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> with kata backend20:46
kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> reproducing is fairly simple: install docker & kata backend (i don’t remember \*exact\* steps, because i don’t have the clear linux VM around anymore) and launch e.g busybox container with `docker run -ti --rm busybox:latest /bin/ash -i` and do `ping google.com`20:47
kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> and you’ll get back “unknown host”20:48
kata-irc-bot3<mikroskeem> so any ideas what could be wrong? where should i look? or should i go to clear linux support forums with this instead?20:59
